Compact Dry AQ

Description:

Compact Dry is a simple and safe procedure for determining and quantifying microorganisms in foodstuffs, cosmetics and other raw materials, including pharmaceuticals. Compact Dry AQ - microorganism chromogenic plates are ready to use and are suitable for both in-process and final product controls.

According to the awareness established by the World Health Organization (WHO), drinking water and process water must be free of contaminating microorganisms. Similar to food samples, the total microbiological count of water, called heterotrophic plate count (HPC), must be determined. HPC includes all microorganisms, including bacteria and yeast and molds that require a high carbon source.

Specifications:

Matrix:Raw materials, finished products, environmental samples from the food, cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries, among others.

Temperature and incubation time:

36 ° C ± 2 ° C for 44 ± 4 h
22 ° C ± 2 ° C for 68 ± 4 h (ISO 6222)
35 ° C ± 1 ° C for 48 ± 2 h (filter / method

Presentation:Packs of 4 units
Mode of use:
  • Remove the cover.
  • Deposit 1 ml of the sample in the center of the surface of the Compact Dry plate.
  • The sample is automatically and homogeneously dispersed on the film and transforms the dry film into a gel in a few seconds.
  • Replace the cover on the plate. Incubate for the prescribed time.
  • Weigh the sample
    Add the diluent
    Homogenize the sample
    Removing the plates
    Remove the cover
    Add 1 Ml of sample
Wait for the sample to be absorbed
    Put the plate down
    Bring the plate in incubation
    Perform reading
    Interpretation of results:

Colonies growing in Compact Dry AQ are almost red in color. Detection limit of Compact Dry AQ is between 1 - 300 CFU/plate.

    Storage and shelf life:

Keep at room temperature, from 1 to 30 °C. Shelf life 18 months.
