Compact Dry YMR

Description:

With the Compact Dry YM Rapid, results can be obtained faster in 48 to 72 hours of incubation. It is a simple and safe procedure for determining and quantifying microorganisms in foodstuffs, cosmetics and other raw materials, including pharmaceuticals. Compact Dry ready-to-use chromogenic plates are suitable for both in-process and final product controls.

On the chromogenic substrates of Compact Dry YMR plates, yeasts and molds show different color reactions and are therefore very easy to distinguish: the chromogenic substrate X-Phos causes a blue coloration in almost all yeasts. Bacterial growth is inhibited by antibiotics. Thanks to the cavity of the Compact Dry plates, the molds develop their characteristic three-dimensional shape in different colors.

Specifications:
Matrix:Raw materials, finished products, environmental samples from the food, cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries, among others.

Mode of use:
  1. Remove the cover.
  2. Deposit 1 ml of the sample in the center of the surface of the Compact Dry plate.
  3. The sample is automatically and homogeneously dispersed on the film, and transforms the dry film into a gel in a few seconds.
  4. Replace the cover on the plate. Incubate for the prescribed time.
